Overview of TEC

TEC was incorporated in 2001 with the vision of building a firm of highway, bridge, and traffic system designers experienced in the construction of projects, who would work along side contractors to efficiently deliver projects for our clients.

TEC was founded by James D'Angelo, P.E.. Mr. D'Angelo co-founded in 1979, along with five other partners, a nationally recognized transportation, land development and environmental engineering firm. For twenty-two years, Mr. D'Angelo led the Transportation Practice of that firm and helped build it from a firm of twelve people in 1979 to 750 people in fourteen offices. In 2002, Mr. D'Angelo established TEC to demonstrate an improved delivery model for transportation and land development projects.

Joining Mr. D'Angelo is Senior Principal, Mitchell D. Keamy, Jr., P.E., who brings with him over twenty years of design and construction experience. Mr. Keamy formerly served as departmental head of a thirty-person structural group and has led project designs for complicated structures in the north area section of the Central Artery in Boston and the ACEC and American Steel Bridge award winning Woburn Interchange off I-93.
