Our transportation planning services include travel demand modeling, value pricing, corridor planning studies, and transit planning.

Route 1 RedevelopmentRevere/Malden/Saugus, MATEC is providing preliminary planning and design services for the widening of 2.4 miles of Route 1 from four to six lanes. TEC is preparing the transportation elements of Environmental Assessments and Impact Reports and will provide the 25% design for the high-capacity state route. The initial evaluations include road profiles and cross sections, traffic signal plans, cost estimates and traffic impact and access studies for multiple alternatives. |

Simon Property Group, Lowell Junction InterchangeAndover/ Wilmington/ Tewksbury, MATEC is assisting the Simon Property Group with the master planning on a large mixed-use/retail center adjacent to Interstate 93. Services include conceptual designs to allow retail access to the site and the creation of numerous highway access alternatives. TEC has had the task of engineering an alternative for the lowest impact to the environment and existing infrastructure. This requires close coordination with MassHighway and the three adjoining towns. |
