EBICambridge, MATEC conducted an existing conditions review of the four-level Museum Towers Parking Structure in Cambridge, MA. TEC's structural engineers inspected and reported flaws in the recently constructed post-tension and cast in place concrete structure. |

Red Spring Road Retaining Wall ReplacementAndover, MATEC provided design and construction oversight services for the complete replacement of a 400 foot long stone masonry retaining wall. TEC's efforts included maintaining the total project delivery cost to $400,000 and minimizing the impacts on areas that would required additional permitting. TEC investigated various wall types and construction methods to determine the most practical and durable configuration. Work also included coordination with the Owner including representation at town meetings. |

MassHighway Central Artery/Tunnel Emergency RepairBoston, MAMassHighway retained TEC to design temporary shoring to support ceiling panels while in situ testing and repairs of the ceiling's hanger systems were completed in the summer of 2006. TEC designed shoring systems of various size and configuration at multiple tunnel locations. They also designed temporary slings to support the 6000 pound ceiling exhaust fans while repairs to the permanent supports took place. |

Sal's Just PizzaLawrence, MATEC provided structural engineering services to a proposed mezzanine floor level within an existing 80,000 sf historic mill building. Structural design included a steel moment framed structural system supported on existing concrete slab and columns that are seismically isolated from the existing steel and brick masonry structure. |
