TEC Principals

The TEC Team has a unique blend of project design engineering and construction experience. Guiding the progress of the Team are Senior Principals, James D'Angelo and Mitchell Keamy, Jr. Supporting James and Mitchell are Principals Brian Pendleton, Civil Engineering, Kevin Dandrade, Traffic Systems, and Jody Trunfio, Structural Engineering.

James D'Angelo, P.E., M.S., B.S.C.E.

Founder/President/Senior Principal

James assists municipal, state and private sector clients in the expeditious progress of their projects from inception through permitting, design, and construction. He is also technically involved in all phases of smart corridor projects throughout New England. James is currently a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Arizona, Florida, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

Mitchell D. Keamy, Jr., P.E., L.C.S., M.S., B.S.C.E.

Senior Principal/Director of Engineering

Mitch has 25 years of experience in the structural analysis, design and construction of bridges, buildings, transportation facilities, and special structures. His extensive experience has included work in the public and private sectors involving state agencies, municipal, commercial, industrial, rail transit, and residential projects. Mitch is a current registered Professional Structural Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, Virginia, and Rhode Island; and is a Licensed Construction Supervisor in Massachusetts.

Brian T. Pendleton, P.E., B.S.C.E.

Principal/Senior Civil Engineer

Brian has almost 20 years experience in civil engineering for highways, bikeways, site developments, airports, and bridge replacements within New England. His expertise includes design of roadways, bridge geometrics and framing layout, drainage design, site grading, right-of-way and layout calculations, cost and quantity estimations, contract document preparation, and construction inspection. Brian is a current registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.

Kevin R. Dandrade, P.E., P.T.O.E., B.S.C.E.

Principal/Senior Traffic Engineer

Kevin has over 10 years experience in traffic impact evaluations, municipal peer reviews, corridors studies, traffic signal design, and utility engineering for numerous projects within New England. His expertise includes site layout, traffic impact and access studies, parking studies and layout, signal equipment layout and specifications, intricate coordinated traffic analyses, cost and quantity estimates, contract document preparation, traffic signal construction inspection, and field fine-tuning. Kevin is a current registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.

Jody P. Trunfio, P.E., M.S.C.E.

Principal/Senior Structural Engineer

Jody has over 7 years experience in structural design, modeling and analysis of buildings, bridges and other transportation related structures. He also has extensive experience in construction engineering applications continuing his service as an integral role in working with TEC's sister bridge construction company, Kodiak Corporation. As a Project Manager, Jody has overseen the permitting and design development of several commercial properties, most notably in the Merrimack Valley. Jody is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering with a concentration in structures and materials. He is also a registered professional structural engineer in MA.
